June brings fresh energy and fresh updates to Opsyte. This month, we're rolling out some exciting new features designed to make your operations smoother and smarter. We're keeping some bigger updates under wraps but trust us there’s a lot of good things on the way. Stay tuned!

What Do We Mean By a Requested Feature?

We encourage our clients to suggest ideas for improvement by using the Feature Requests option in our sidebar. The Feature Requests page allows you to submit your ideas for improvement, as well as vote and comment on those left by other users. Please get involved and help us to decide what to develop next!


Rota Graphs

An exciting new release this month - Rota Graphs! Rota Graphs offer a powerful visual tool that enables you to track headcount effectively while comparing labour costs against sales performance. With these graphs, you can visually pinpoint where the most revenue is being generated and easily see whether your workforce is over or under-staffed at any given time.

By clearly illustrating staffing patterns and costs in relation to sales, Rota Graphs help you make informed scheduling decisions, control labour expenses, and boost productivity. Ultimately, they empower you to balance operational needs with financial goals, leading to improved profitability and smoother, more efficient day-to-day operations. A lot of power in these graphs!

Make sure the graphs are toggled on to be able to see them and make the most of the information available.


Holiday Events in Outlook/Calendar App

If you have booked holiday in Opsyte and synced your rota to Outlook or your calendar app, your holiday will now show as an all day event. This ensures your time off is clearly visible and easily integrated into your personal schedule, helping you and your team stay organised and up to date.


Invoice System Updates

The invoice system has had some improvements made to it, when the system detects new products on an invoice that have not been encountered before, you can assign them to the appropriate nominal category, such as "Cleaning Materials." Once categorised, you will receive visual confirmation that the allocation has been saved (in the form of a green tick).

This categorisation will then be automatically applied to future invoices from the same supplier containing the product, streamlining the process and ensuring consistency. The performance of the invoice system has been improved meaning faster load times! Yay!


Enhanced Gmail Deliverability with SendGrid

We've enhanced Gmail deliverability through our cloud based email service, SendGrid. This enhancement helps increase email reach and engagement, providing a better experience for both senders and recipients. These updates enhance inbox placement rates for Gmail recipients, reduce the likelihood of emails being marked as spam, and ensure more reliable delivery overall.
