Happy Holidays from the team at Opsyte. We hope you have a lovely holiday season, and we look forward to continuing to work with you in 2026. Here are all the improvements and features we've released to Opsyte in December.
These Release Notes will cover:
Daily AI Overview in the Snapshot Email
Rota UX and Speed Improvements
Requested Feature: Ability to send Maintenance Tickets to an external contractor by email.
What do we mean by a Requested Feature?
We encourage our clients to suggest ideas for improvement by using the Feature Requests option in our sidebar. The Feature Requests page allows you to submit your ideas for improvement, as well as vote and comment on those left by other users. Please get involved and help us to decide what to develop next!
Daily AI Overview in the Snapshot Email
We have launched AI Insights in the daily snapshot email which can be sent from the Cashup page. The AI will analyse your revenue, labour costs as well as consider anything else which may have influenced your business trade each day - e.g. weather or public events. It will then provide you a summary with any suggested actions you can take.
β
If you're not yet using the snapshot email or want to learn more, please reach out to our support team who will be happy to show you how you can get the most out of this exciting new feature.
Stay tuned for more announcements that build upon this technology in the new year.
Rota UX and Speed Improvements
We've given the rota an improved look and feel, helping you see more information at a glance including any special events that might affect your trade.
Changes have also been made when dragging shifts so this feels faster. You can still hold the Ctrl key whilst dragging a shift on Windows to copy the shift instead of switching which employee is working or moving it to another day.
If you prefer, or if you are using an Apple Mac - you can switch the drag mode to copy shifts from the rota menu.
Send Maintenance Tickets as Email - Requested Feature
We've added the ability to send a maintenance ticket to an external email address, for example a contractor, so they can provide you a quote or arrange a time to resolve whatever issue you've reported.
Any images are also automatically included on the email so they can see this too.
