Written by Beth Davies

May 2026 has been a productive month for us here at Opsyte. We've been working tirelessly to improve our platform, delivering meaningful enhancements that make it even more intuitive and efficient for your day to day operations. We're excited to share the results of our efforts, showcasing updates that have been designed with the unique needs of hospitality operators in mind. The following release notes give you a comprehensive overview of all that we accomplished last month, detailing the new features and improvements you can now enjoy.

These Release Notes will cover:

  • Improved Client Shift History

  • Expanded TrustID Information - Client Requested

  • New Calendar Integration

  • Coming Soon - Troncbox Intelligence

What Do We Mean by a Requested Feature?

We encourage our clients to suggest ideas for improvements by using the Feature Requests option which can be found underneath the question mark at the top of the Opsyte homepage. The Feature Requests page allows you to submit your ideas for improvement, as well as vote and comment on those left by other users. Please get involved and help us to decide what to develop next!

Any requests approved will now receive a notification confirming approval. They will also be notified once the request has been processed and completed.

HR & Holiday

Improved Client Shift History

With our latest update, if you have the permissions to create and edit shifts on the rota, you'll now be able to view a comprehensive history log of any edits you've made. This gives you better visibility and control, ensuring complete transparency in your scheduling process.

To see this log right click the shift you have created on the rota and you will now be able to see a History button in the right hand corner.

This will open up a historic log with information about the shifts that have been created.

Expanded TrustID Information

We've heard your feedback and have enhanced the visibility of TrustID links status. You can now see if a link has been sent, if it's been completed and if it's still active. You'll also be able to view how many tokens are used on each staff member, providing you with a better understanding of your team's utilisation.

To access this information, select the cog in the top right hand corner and navigate to TrustID Tracker which is under the heading labelled Group.

You can toggle the Show Incomplete Only button in the top right to see who is yet to complete their TrustID verification as well as check the status of their link.

Platform Improvements

New Calendar Integration

Staying organised just got easier. With the introduction of our new feature, calendar events are now visible in the rota if you are the organiser of the event or a guest. This improvement will streamline your scheduling process, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

The calendar can be accessed under the Staff module. You have the ability to select the Calendar itself or the Calendar Report which shows Completed Events, Upcoming Events and Overdue Events.

A view of the calendar report will show any overdue tasks and items to be completed.

Coming Soon

Troncbox Intelligence

We are working behind the scenes to deliver a range of new integrations and features that will be released over the coming months, including Troncbox Intelligence. Currently in the pilot phase and scheduled to launch in August, Troncbox Intelligence is being developed through our partnership with Troncbox. It will provide Troncbox clients with real-time visibility across sales, labour, tips, cash-ups, and profit, helping them make more informed business decisions.

We want to say thank you for your continued support and feedback. We are committed to continually improving Opsyte to best serve your needs, and we look forward to maintaining the momentum of our platform's growth into the future. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!

Best regards,

The Opsyte Team
