What Do We Mean by a Requested Feature?
We encourage our clients to suggest ideas for improvements by using the Feature Requests option which can be found underneath the question mark at the top of the Opsyte homepage. The Feature Requests page allows you to submit your ideas for improvement, as well as vote and comment on those left by other users. Please get involved and help us to decide what to develop next!
Any requests approved will now receive a notification confirming approval. They will also be notified once the request has been processed and completed.
New Integration Partner: Supy
We're excited to announce our newest integration partnership with Supy, a leading restaurant inventory and back-of-house management platform. Supy helps restaurants streamline inventory management, purchasing, recipe costing, and food waste tracking, giving operators greater visibility and control over their operations while reducing costs and improving profitability. We're thrilled to be teaming up with the Supy team and look forward to supporting restaurants with smarter, more connected operations.

Lightspeed Comps and Voids Breakdown
As a response to your needs, we've made it possible to pull comprehensive data on comps and voids from Lightspeed, offering deeper insights into your transactions. These insights will provide a clearer picture of your operations, helping to streamline financial management and operational efficiency.
P&L Flash: Consolidated Costs Overview
We've now enabled a feature where fixed costs with the same name across different companies will be combined and displayed. This gives you a comprehensive view of your total costs for the group, as well as a detailed breakdown by site, making it easier to manage and track your expenses.
HR & Holiday
Non-Trading Days: Enhanced Rota Visuals
With an aim to make scheduling more intuitive, non-trading days will now be displayed in a different colour on the rota. This visual distinction will make it easier for you to manage staff schedules and ensure optimal coverage on operational days.
Holiday Accrual Page Improvements
We've improved the Holiday Accrual page to provide greater transparency into how holiday calculations are determined.
New Calculations Tooltips
A small blue information icon now appears next to each employee's name. Hovering over this icon displays a detailed breakdown of the calculation, including:

Clearer Column Headings
We've updated the column names across the page to make the displayed figures easier to understand at a glance.
These enhancements make it easier to see exactly how holiday accruals have been calculated and provide greater confidence in the figures displayed.
Regular Hour Holiday Enhancements
We've added a column on the Holiday Accrual page to view accrued holidays up to date. This enhancement provides a quick and easy way to monitor holiday accruals, helping you to manage staff leave more efficiently.
Employee Contracts - PDF Viewing
We've updated the Contracts to be displayed in PDF format, providing a cleaner and more professional viewing experience. This update makes it easier for employees to view or review their contracts.
Audit Logs for Permissions & Department Restrictions
We've introduced Audit Logs to provide greater visibility into changes made to user permissions and department restrictions.
Access the Audit Logs from the Settings cog within the Permissions tab.
Quickly search and review changes made to user permissions and department restrictions. Each log includes the date and time the change was made, what was changed, who made the change and which user's profile the change was applied to.
This update makes it easier to track administrative changes, improve accountability, and support troubleshooting when reviewing permission or department access updates.
Staff & User Module
Staff List Export - Home Site Column Addition
To provide you with more detailed staff information, we've added a 'home site' column to the staff download when downloading at Group Level. This added feature will improve visibility and allow for more streamlined staff management across your various sites.
