Our focus has been to make our platform even more intuitive and efficient, with a clear aim to streamline your day-to-day operations. We are thrilled to share with you a variety of enhancements and functionalities that have been rolled out to further simplify and bolster your hospitality operations. As we continue to build Opsyte with hospitality operators at the heart of our design, our release notes below provide a comprehensive summary of our recent improvements.

We encourage our clients to suggest ideas for improvements by using the Feature Requests option which can be found underneath the question mark at the top of the Opsyte homepage. The Feature Requests page allows you to submit your ideas for improvement, as well as vote and comment on those left by other users. Please get involved and help us to decide what to develop next!

Any requests approved will now receive a notification confirming approval. They will also be notified once the request has been processed and completed.

We've introduced a feature that allows you to view the split costs of hourly and salary wages on the P&L Flash. This feature provides a clear breakdown of your wage costs, facilitating better financial planning and budgeting.

The hourly wage costs includes National Insurance and pensions but excludes holiday costs.

In response to client feedback, we've added a feature that allows you to view holiday costs on the P&L Flash report using the variable costs tracker. Simply This addition will help enhance your understanding of the financial impact of employee leave on your overall business expenses.

We've expanded the snapshot allocation feature to include job roles, not just individual employees! Take a look at the Snapshot Settings and give it a go for yourself.

We've updated our Petty Cash Report to now include an export to excel function, along with a list of petty cash items at the bottom. This streamlines your financial reporting and makes managing your petty cash even easier. Scroll to the bottom of the petty cash page on Opsyte and take a look at the updates.

We've made an improvement to the user experience on the holiday accrual page. Now, headers will stay in place as you scroll down the page, making it easier to track and manage your staff's holiday accruals.

We've added the option to block out certain days or weeks in a year. This prevents employees from requesting holidays during these periods, but management can still input if needed. This feature provides better control over staff availability during peak business periods. Simply head to the holiday page and scroll down to the bottom where you can input Holiday Restrictions.

We've introduced a new feature that allows you to set a lead time beyond which employees cannot request holidays. This management tool will give you more control over scheduling and help avoid last minute shifts or coverage issues. This can be found in the Custom Site Settings under the grey cog and then visible under Holiday Settings.

We've updated the Late and Absence Report to include the employee's Payroll ID. This improvement makes it easier to identify and locate employees on the report, saving you valuable time.

Admin users now have the ability to delete paid accounts on the elements section. This additional control allows for better management of your accounts and enhances the integrity of your financial data.

We've enhanced our integration with Sideways, now allowing for a two way flow of data. You can now view complete and incomplete training directly on Opsyte, reducing the need to switch between platforms.

We've incorporated maintenance and incident reports into the calendar. This provides a clear overview of these events, enabling better planning and management of resources. Keep an eye out for the red incident tag on the calendar and the green maintenance tag!
