What Do We Mean by a Requested Feature?

We encourage our clients to suggest ideas for improvements by using the Feature Requests option which can be found underneath the question mark at the top of the Opsyte homepage. The Feature Requests page allows you to submit your ideas for improvement, as well as vote and comment on those left by other users. Please get involved and help us to decide what to develop next!

Any requests approved will now receive a notification confirming approval. They will also be notified once the request has been processed and completed.

HR & User Module

"No Show" Button on Rota Approval Page

We have added a "No Show" button on the rota approval page, giving you a streamlined way to manage unexpected absences. Simply head to the rota approval page and underneath the yellow section where the employee's clock in time appears is the Mark Unworked button.

If you select this button you have the option to mark the employee as a No Show or you can mark them for Statutory Sick Pay.

Approve Clock-in/out Times and Adjustments

You can now approve shifts individually, providing greater flexibility in managing your team's work hours. You can still approve via department or approve the entire page in one go but you now have the added option of approving shifts one by one. If you prefer to approve shifts per employee this is now available!

Draft Contracts PDF Preview

You can preview contract templates while you're editing them. This allows you to perfect the document's layout before issuing it. Double check any spacing, titles and logos and preview this to make sure it's perfect.

Select the Generate Draft button and wait for the Task Running box to turn green to indicate your draft is ready for preview.

Marking as Sick Changed to SSP on the Rota

We've made it easier to manage sick leave. You'll now find the SSP option in the first pop-up when you right click on a shift in the rota to reflect changes in legislation.

Financial & Reporting Module

Choose Whether Petty Cash Deducts From To Bank

We've added a new feature to the petty cash entry process. You can now choose whether the entered amount should be automatically deducted from the "To Bank" section.

Before funding from the on-site cash when you select the Cash on the financial page you can see the Cash Left To Bank is showing as £152.

If you create an entry on the petty cash and select the "Fund From On-Site Cash" box this will then be deducted from the Cash Left To Bank section.

This will then also show in the Banking box in its own tracker alongside the value.

Duplicate Deposits Reversal

We've introduced a feature to reverse a deposit mistakenly inputted, thus ensuring accurate financial records.

If you select the deposits redeemed tracker in the Elements box there is a button next to the deposit labelled "unredeem" if you select this and it has been successful you will see a green box appear that shows the action has succeeded.

Notification When a Site Disconnects From Xero

We've added a notification system for Xero disconnections. You'll now see a banner on the invoice system page if your site disconnects from Xero.

P&L Flash: Labour Cost by Department

The P&L Flash has been extended to now show wage cost breakdowns by department, in line with the Wage Report. This provides greater visibility into labour costs across different areas of the business, making it easier to identify where wage spend is highest and monitor departmental performance.

Wage Report: Toggle Between Base Wages and Wages Including NI & Pension

The wage report has been updated so you can now toggle between base wages and wages including NI & Pension. This gives users more flexibility when reviewing labour costs.

Cashup Summary in App

You can now view your cashup summary directly in the app, making financial management on-the-go even easier. Scroll to the financial section and select cash up and here you can see the summary.

View and Send the Cashup Snapshot From the App

As well as being able to view the cashup summary in the app you can now view the snapshot in the app and send it directly from the app too. We appreciate that a lot of users are constantly on the go and being able to manage the operations from a mobile device is becoming integral to running your business. This way you can keep an eye on business as and when you need to.
