Adding a Probation Period for current and new employees.

This guide provides a step-by-step guide on how to manage probation periods for employees within the Opsyte portal.

For currently employed employees on Opsyte, go into their profile and Click "Job Roles and Pay Rates"

Select the "Probation Period" option from the drop-down box.

Within the Probation Period drop-down there are 5 options to choose from.

Under the employees' pay details it will show you "How many days of their Probation Period is remaining"

Or if the "Probation Period has ended"

An employee can view the end date of their Probation Period by clicking on their dashboard.

When adding a New employee you will be able to add a "Probation Period" using the drop-down box .

If you use our Insytes module you will find the "Probation Report" under scheduling.

Anyone with Staff List permissions will receive two email notifications for employees approaching the end of their probation period. The first email is sent on a Monday, between 7 and 14 days before the probation end date, and the second email is sent one day prior to the completion date.
