To prevent employees from requesting holiday within a certain number of days, follow the steps below to set a holiday lead time. Employees will only be able to request holiday from the first available date. Managers, however, can override the holiday lead time and book holiday on behalf of an employee.
Holiday Settings
Click "Custom Site Settings"
Click "Holiday Settings"
Update 'Holiday Lead Days' .
Click "Save"
Click Apply these changes from and click on the date you would like this setting to apply from.
Click "Save"
What the employee will see when requesting holiday
When employees click on the start date, any dates within the holiday lead time will be crossed out, preventing them from selecting a date until the first available date.
In this example you will see up until the 7th is crossed out for the employee.
