A Faster and Simpler Right to Work Process

TrustID is fully integrated into Opsyte, allowing employers to complete digital Right to Work checks without leaving the platform. Whether you are onboarding a new employee or verifying an existing member of staff, the process is straightforward and can be managed from the employee's profile.

For new starters, TrustID can be enabled during the onboarding process. Existing employees can be sent a verification request directly from their staff profile with the click of a button.

Employees receive an email from TrustID containing a QR code, which guides them through the verification process. They simply upload images of their Right to Work documents and take a live selfie to confirm their identity.

Improve Compliance with Confidence

TrustID helps employers meet their Right to Work obligations by carrying out comprehensive digital identity checks. The verification process assesses several key areas, including:

  • Liveness detection to confirm the applicant is physically present.

  • Face matching between the selfie and the identity document.

  • Identity fraud detection.

  • Document validation to ensure documents are genuine, valid and suitable for verification.

Once an employee has successfully completed the checks, they are marked as verified within Opsyte with a blue verification tick. The completed TrustID documents are also stored within the employee's profile, providing a clear audit trail whenever it is needed.

When an application is successfully verified, both the employee and the relevant site manager receive a notification. This ensures everyone involved is kept informed, allowing onboarding to continue without unnecessary delays.

Clear Management of Failed Checks

Not every unsuccessful application indicates fraud. TrustID separates failed applications into two categories, making it easier for employers to respond appropriately.

Rejections

Rejections are usually caused by user error, such as unclear photographs, poor quality document uploads or incomplete selfies.

In these cases, TrustID automatically sends the employee another verification email so they can complete the process again. If repeated rejections occur, employers can pause the automatic resend feature while they discuss the issue with the employee.

Failures

Failures occur when TrustID detects potentially fraudulent activity or identifies invalid documentation. Examples include identity fraud or expired or unsuitable documents.

Unlike rejections, failed applications are not automatically resent. If, after reviewing the situation with the employee, you decide another attempt is appropriate, a new TrustID verification email can be sent manually from the employee's profile.

Simple Token Management

TrustID operates using a token system, making costs easy to understand and manage.

Administrators can purchase tokens directly within Opsyte through the TrustID Right to Work Verification section in Company Settings. Tokens are priced at £5 each with a minimum purchase of 10 tokens. Organisations purchasing 50 tokens benefit from a reduced price of £4.50 per token.

Available token balances are displayed within the staff list, allowing administrators to monitor usage and ensure they always have enough credits available.

Please note that each verification email uses one token, and verification links remain valid for two weeks.
