Shift feedback is an exciting feature that allows you to get feedback directly from your employees as they clock out from their shift! You can then monitor this feedback using your dashboard widget and graph! πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸ³πŸŽ‰

Shift Feedback is a great way to track the general mood of your employees over time. Staff happiness is important, and the key to a motivated and productive team.

This feature is defaulted to turn ON for all companies, so learn how to get the most out of it by reading this article.

Note: To use this feature, you must be using the fixed screen method of clocking in/out - it is not available on the mobile app.

How does Shift Feedback work? 🀡🏻

Shift Feedback is gathered when your employees clock out of work, they will be asked to submit an anonymous response to your selected questions. The process for submitting Shift Feedback is as follows...

The Shift Feedback survey will appear after the employee has inputted their clock in code and clocked out.

Once the employee has pressed Clock Out, the Shift Feedback Survey questions for your company will appear. If you haven't set questions, you will be shown our defaults.

After pressing Clock Out, employees will be shown the Shift Feedback Survey. If you have multiple questions set up, employees will be shown them in series.

To select their response, employees need to tap/click on their answer and click Send Feedback.

How to change your Shift Feedback settings? βš™οΈ

You can find the Shift Feedback setting in your Company Settings. Click on the four squares icon at the top right corner of the page to open the admin menu.

Once you are in the admin menu, click on Other Company Settings, then Shift Feedback Settings.

On this page you can:

  • Turn Shift Feedback on or off by using the green slider.

  • Select which questions you'd like to show your employees. You can select new questions by using the drop down menu.

  • Remove questions from your survey. You can do this by pressing the Delete button next to the question you wish to remove. Don't worry, the question will remain in the Add Question drop down menu if you'd like to use it again in the future.

  • Request new questions. If none of our preset questions are asking what you need, please feel free to request your desired question by using the green button!

How can I view the Shift Feedback scores? πŸ“Š

You can view the Shift Feedback scores on your management Dashboard! This is the page you are brought to when you first log into Opsyte, but you can also find your way to it by clicking on your company name at the top left of your page.

You will be shown a widget at the top of your Dashboard that gives you the average shift score for the week.

At the bottom of your Dashboard you will find a graph that shows you a breakdown of your employees responses. It will show you the proportion of employees that selected each answer, and track your average score!
